Kalimba Coach Privacy

Kalimba Coach collects no data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and it contains no third-party code. Everything it does happens on your device.

Microphone

When you practice with your own kalimba or use the tuner, the app listens to work out which note you played. The sound is analysed live on your device and thrown away straight after. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere. The microphone is only on while practice listening is switched on or the Tuner tab is open.

Camera and photos

When you scan a tab from paper or pick a photo of one, the app reads the numbers with Apple's on-device text recognition. The picture isn't saved by the app and never leaves your device. Only the tab text you decide to keep is stored.

Your songs and progress

Songs you add, finished lessons and your settings are stored on your device only. Deleting the app deletes them.

Subscriptions

Kalimba Coach Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment; the app only learns from your device whether a subscription is active. I never see your name, Apple Account or payment details. You manage or cancel the subscription in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
